MI Recording.
Can you help with recording Memorial Inscriptions? Contact the MI Co-ordinator, Ian Wells, at Bridge Chapel House (click on Contact Page below). If you live in Derbyshire he can also tell you if your local MIs still need to be recorded.
Derbyshire Registrars BMD Index.
The Society is transcribing registers from the seven Derbyshire register offices (Derby, Ripley, Ilkeston, Bakewell, High Peak, Ashbourne and Chesterfield). Work is organised from Bridge Chapel House.
Volunteers are currently sought for this project. We seek persons who can work at home, on their computer, entering data from photocopies using supplied software, on a spare time basis.
Volunteers are also sought to work at home, on their computer, editing data supplied by e-mail in MS Excel, against a supplied index print with marked corrections. Ideally, a 7 day turnaround basis is preferred. Derby and Chesterfield based would be particularly useful, although not essential.
Full information on request, tuition etc. will be supplied as required.
See Find My Past to search our indices.
